The 16th Annual "Back to School Fair & Safety Night" event will be held from 5:00 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday\, August 25\, 2015 at the Allendale Township Park.\n\n\n\nThe purpose of the Back to School Fair is to inform Allendale area families about resources and services available to them as residents and/or parents of school-aged children and to provide information regarding volunteer opportunities available within our schools. The purpose of Safety Night is to \n\nintroduce the community to our local law enforcement and other agencies \n\ncommitted to public safety.\n\n\n\nIn order to ensure the success of this event\, we need your help. You can assist\n\nin the following ways:\n\n\n\n First\, you can help by supporting this event with funding. We need to raise enough money to cover our expenses. Your donation of $30 or more entitles you to a table you may use to represent your organization at the event on August 25. However\, you are not required to participate at the event should you desire to make a financial contribution. \n\n\n\n Secondly\, we are holding a parent and student raffle of family-friendly items throughout the evening. If you do not choose to make a financial contribution\, would you please consider donating a prize for our raffle? The items could range from free car washes\, pizza\, hair styling services\, gift cards the possibilities are endless! All donors will be acknowledged in a flyer that will go home with each attendee.\n\n\n\nLast year\, well over 1\,000 people attended this event and we are expecting another great turnout!
