DESCRIPTION:FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE\n\nContact: Rick Lyons\, Lyons Management\, rick@yourtrio.com\n\nMedia Contact: Barbara Lash\, Cull Group\, barbara@cullgroup.com\n\nALLENDALE\, MI\, October 12\, 2016\n\nTRIO TOWNHOMES\, OFF-CAMPUS GVSU STUDENT HOUSING\, ANNOUNCES GRAND\n\nOPENING OCT. 14TH\n\nMt. Pleasant-based Langlois Management\, owned by brothers Kevin and Mark Langlois\, announced today the grand opening of its third student housing community for Grand Valley State University. TRIO Townhomes\, a community of three townhome complexes\, is located at the corner of 48th Avenue and Pierce Street in Allendale\, Michigan\, directly adjacent to the GVSU campus. As part of the launch\, the existing properties Country Place Townhouses and Hillcrest Townhouses are being renamed as TRIO North and TRIO Center.\n\nThe five-acre property\, known as TRIO South\, brings 140 new beds to meet the growing housing needs of GVSU students. The project was designed by Goudreau & Associates of Mt. Pleasant and built by Rohde Construction of Kentwood with financing provided by Macatawa Bank. With classic exteriors and modern interiors designed by Allie Langlois\, the three-story Craftsman style townhomes have 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths and feature a spacious open concept living area with a large kitchen island perfect for gathering.\n\nMark Langlois says\, "We designed TRIO South with individuality in mind. Each of the four bedrooms has its own large closet and bathroom\, and gives the student the ability to make the space their own on their terms." Rick Lyons\, of Lyons Management\, manager of TRIO Townhomes\, adds "I'm excited about the new property and our new identity. It creates a complete community for our residents and with the addition of a state of the art fitness center\, a community center and upgraded WiFi from Fusion IT\, our residents have added amenities\, without added cost."\n\nWithin walking distance to the GVSU Allendale campus\, TRIO Townhomes encompasses a total of 25 acres with 940 total beds. The Langlois brothers\, Kevin and Mark\, are committed to the family business of student housing that their father\, Philip Langlois\, began in the '80s in Mt. Pleasant. TRIO Townhomes is part of the Langlois' portfolio\, which also includes properties in Mt. Pleasant for Central Michigan University.\n\nA grand opening celebration\, featuring a ribbon-cutting with Louie the Laker\, Electric Hero Food Truck and 77 VW Bus Photo Booth is scheduled for this Friday\, October 14th at 4:30 p.m. The party continues from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. More information on the properties' amenities and apartment configurations\, as well as the grand opening event\, is available at www.yourtrio.com.\n\nTRIO Townhomes.
