Scarecrow Building Contest

We are putting together an awesome Fall Fun Package for the winner of the Scarecrow Building Contest at the Allendale Fall Festival. Only 11 spots are open for the contest. Rules: After you sign up, a number will be assigned to you. That number will be posted on one of the lamp posts at the township park along the main drive. Create your very best FAMILY FRIENDLY scarecrow and bring it to the park. We do not want to scare the kids or the adults. Anything that is deemed inappropriate will be removed by the festival committee. All scarecrows must be in place by 10:00am on September 22nd. You can "merchandise" your scarecrow with a hay bail, corn stalks, pumpkins, whatever you want to make yours stand out. Open for public vote during the event from 11am to 2pm. After the event you can take your scarecrow home with you to decorate your own yard!
